Questions & answers
Common questions about signup, security, mobile routes, and how RouteBud fits your field team.
How does pricing work?
$19/month platform fee plus $12/month per active rep.
Every feature is included—routes, CRM, GPS check-in, photos, live dashboard, and rep mobile notifications.
See the pricing calculator.
What happens after I sign up?
After you create your account, you will sign in with full workspace access for a 14-day trial before billing. After your workspace is active, open Getting Started in the CRM for a step-by-step setup walkthrough.
Is there a launch offer?
Yes—your first month's platform fee is waived, then standard pricing of $19/mo platform + $12/rep
with no long-term contract. Free onboarding and data import for new workspaces.
Do reps need the full CRM app on their phones?
No. Reps use the RouteBud mobile app (iOS and Android)—check-in, photos, notes, and outcomes. Managers use the web CRM for planning and live view.
How does GPS check-in work?
When a rep taps check-in, their position is compared to the location. Within about 500m it can auto-confirm; farther away shows a warning with optional override. Managers see distance on the live dashboard.
How do reps get their route?
Your admin creates a rep account with email and password. Managers assign the route in the CRM; reps sign in to the mobile app and open it from the Routes tab. Optional Notify Rep sends a push notification when the app is installed.
How do reps install the mobile app?
Reps use the RouteBud native app on iOS and Android—not the full CRM web app on a phone.
Install RouteBud on iOS or Android, then sign in with credentials from your manager.
Open assigned routes from the Routes tab. Managers can tap Notify Rep for a push when a new route is assigned.
Logged-in users can open a single route in the mobile browser as a fallback; the native app is the primary rep experience.
How is my data protected?
Each organization workspace is logically isolated—your locations, routes, users, and uploaded files are not shared with other customers.
Access is role-based (admin, manager, sales rep), sessions use HTTPS, and state-changing actions require CSRF protection.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the product. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I import my existing location list?
Yes—upload a CSV to load locations into your workspace, use map-based discover to find new accounts, and merge duplicates so routes and visit history stay clean. Driving route optimization is available when you build multi-stop routes (when enabled for your org).
How do I know we have outgrown spreadsheets?
Common signals: reps plan their own routes each morning, managers lack live visibility, visit history lives in people’s heads, route updates take longer than the day, and you cannot prove what happened at each stop.
See all five signs.
How do distribution companies plan sales routes?
Start from a territory list (often imported from a spreadsheet), group stops geographically, assign the route to a rep, and use GPS check-in plus a live dashboard so managers see progress without status texts.
Read our route planning guide for a full walkthrough, or how to build a weekly route plan step by step.
Can reps add stops during the day?
Yes—reps can discover nearby locations from GPS and add them to the active route when plans change.
How do new team members get access?
Your workspace administrator creates user accounts in the CRM and shares login details. If your organization uses online signup, use Get started on this site; otherwise use Log in with credentials from your admin.
After sign-in, open Getting Started in the CRM sidebar for onboarding steps—import locations, build a route, and invite your team.
