This Privacy Policy describes how RouteBud Inc. (“RouteBud,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit our marketing site, create an account, or use our field sales CRM and mobile route applications (the “Services”).
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as name, work email, organization name, billing details, support messages, and content your team uploads (location records, visit notes, route photos, and similar business data).
When you use the Services we also collect technical and usage information, including IP address, browser or device type, app version, log data, and approximate location when a rep checks in to a stop with GPS enabled.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Services
- Authenticate users and enforce organization-level access controls
- Process subscriptions and send transactional email
- Respond to support requests and legal notices
- Monitor abuse, fraud, and platform reliability
We do not sell personal information. We use data processors (such as hosting, email, payment, and push notification providers) only to operate the Services under contractual safeguards.
Organization data and isolation
Each customer workspace is logically isolated. Your organization’s locations, routes, users, and uploaded files are not shared with other customers on the platform. Administrators within your organization control user access.
Retention
We retain account and business data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support backups, billing records, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your organization subject to applicable law and active billing commitments.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a business SaaS platform, including:
- Encrypted transport — HTTPS for web and API traffic
- Tenant isolation — each customer workspace is logically separated
- Role-based access — administrators control who can view or change data
- Session security — authentication, CSRF protection on state-changing requests, and optional login lockout
- No ad cookies — we do not run third-party advertising trackers on the product
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Report suspected issues to support@routebud.com .
Your choices
Workspace administrators can update user accounts and contact us regarding access or correction requests. Marketing email preferences can be updated by replying to promotional messages or contacting us.
Data export and deletion
Organization administrators with appropriate permissions can export a copy of their workspace data (database records and uploaded files) from Organization Settings. To request permanent deletion of your organization, use the deletion request option in Organization Settings; RouteBud platform staff review requests before any purge. Owner and internal platform organizations may have different policies.
After deletion, backups may persist for a limited period in our disaster-recovery systems before being overwritten according to our retention schedule.
International users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where our providers operate.
Children
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, notice within the product or by email.
